Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the WA Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty!  WCADP works actively to educate the public, conduct community activities, and inform political leaders.  We believe that the combined efforts of committed individuals and groups will lead to the abolition of the death penalty in our state.

Legislative Surveying:  Communicate with legislators about their death penalty views

Website:  Help maintain the WCADP website

Speakers Bureau:  Speak to community groups about the death penalty

Administrative Work/Bulk Mail: Attend work parties to fold newsletters, prepare mailings, etc.

Case Research:  Research a specific death penalty case and provide updates

Special Events:  Help plan and stage annual fundraising events (i.e., Abolition Dinner)

Auction Procurement:  Find donated gifts for the WCADP annual dinner auction

Fundraising:  Help build our donor base and raise funds

Public Relations:  Spread the word about upcoming events

Death Row Support:  Correspond with death row inmates
